Summary:

CLEAR has a long history of creating and working with land cover maps. The Connecticut’s Changing Landscape Story Map is the latest medium for explaining and sharing the wealth of information contained in the land cover dataset. We created it now because Connecticut is at a critical juncture. Development is picking up again after the recession and at the same time, funding for open space is on the hot seat.
