Emily Wilson is a Geospatial Educator at the University of Connecticut Center for Land Use Education and Research (CLEAR). Her background is in natural resources and remote sensing. She has undergraduate degrees in botany and environmental science and an MS in forestry and remote sensing.
At CLEAR she works to make technical geospatial information available to all through websites, web maps, trainings and conversations. She specializes in land cover, especially the presentation of status and trends in the forms of statistics, graphics static maps and interactive maps. She also processes and serves many large, statewide imagery datasets on the CT ECO (Connecticut Environmental Conditions Online) website including both aerials and Lidar.
