Summary:

Maps have been widely used by Cooperative Extension throughout the years. Online mapping offers a place-based, interactive method for connecting to and with current and new audiences. Every Extension agent, specialist and administrator should be empowered to use spatial data and technology to promote their programs and engage stakeholders. NOTE: This Cascade Story map is based on an Ignite presentation on the use of online mapping by Cooperative Extension at the 2016 ANREP/NACDEP Joint Conference.
