Online Georectification Using Map Warper

Map Warper

The Resource

Map Warper is an online tool created by Tim Waters that allows users to upload their own imagery or scanned maps and georectify or warp them to their actual location on the earth.  Users can then download their rectified maps and use them elsewhere, such as a GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS, Google Earth, etc).  Tim also runs a blog that points to examples of Map Warper’s use, and also tutorials on how to get started with Map Warper.
